Jenkintown Education Foundation welcomed a new group to its board in 2020. The Student Ambassadors group is comprised of Junior and Senior students who apply to join our board. They contribute to the board meetings and activities. During this 2020-2021 inaugural student ambassador year, some of the opportunities our student leaders have participated in are: voted on board matters, created social media, joined in meetings with other local nonprofits to foster connections throughout Jenkintown and kept their fellow students apprised of the mission of the Jenkintown Education Foundation. The JEF Student ambassadors are school leaders and we look forward to growing these relationships as they become “Alumni” and continue to create opportunities for Jenkintown students.
