The Support Our Students (SOS) Fund, historically associated with the Home and School Association, has moved over to the Jenkintown Education Foundation as of 2024.  In accordance with its historical mission and administration, the SOS Fund is available to Jenkintown School District students who could not otherwise afford to participate in school-based activities.  Requests originate with school district personnel, who keep recipients’ identities entirely confidential, even from JEF, and ensure funding is directed to appropriate students.  JEF Board members approve each expenditure without any student-identifying information.  Donations to SOS can be made through JEF, but donors must identify SOS as the specific recipient.  Any questions about SOS can be directed to the Fund Administrator, Chrissy Levy, at sos@jsdef.org.
