The Jenkintown Education Foundation (JEF) and the students and families of The School District of Jenkintown, would like to thank the Charles H. and Mildred E. Speece Foundation for the very generous donation towards our Music Department. We are so grateful to have the ability to purchase new music stands and chairs, which will be used by students in 4ththrough 12thgrade in our district. We are thrilled to report that our Faculty member Mr. Fred Eyrich has already received the new items and the students are putting them to excellent use. Additionally, the JSD was able to pay it forward by donating 16 music stands to the Temple University Music Preparatory Division. Their programs offer free music instruction and performance opportunities to students in Philadelphia. The Charles H. and Mildred E. Speece Foundation’s generosity will enable The School District of Jenkintown to further its mission to provide our district’s children with an excellent, well-rounded and individualized education.
